The Sims 4 is adding a curated section for downloadable mods and custom content

The Sims 4 is partnering with software company Overwolf to create a one-stop shop for content material and custom mods. The partnership was announced at the Behind the Sims summit by Lyndsay Pearson, Vice President of Franchise Creative.

"Every day we're in awe of the incredible way you express yourself," Pearson said before demoing The Sims 4 x Overwolf. “For years, the Sims neighborhood has been expanded by modders and custom content creators. And today, we're taking a big step forward by recognizing and celebrating their contributions…for the first time in our history, we're busy downloading custom mods and custom content material in a new vacation spot for Sims 4 players."

The Summit Behind The Sims also officially announced Project Rene, aka The Sims 5, and that toddlers are coming to The Sims 4 next year.
